Minutes of Meeting
December 2, 2010
Members Present: Chairman Tom Jameson, Vice-Chair Richard Moore, Ex-Officio Jeffrey Jordan, Stan Brehm, Kevin Mara, Allen Mayville Richard Arell, Thom Houle, and Secretary Jamie Pike.
Chairman Jameson called the meeting to order at 6:45pm.
The minutes of November 4, 2010 were reviewed and a motion was made by Mr. Mayville and seconded by Dr. Mara to approve the minutes as written. Motion passes.
Mr. Pike presented the Board with information regarding the “Northern Pass Project”. This project involves the construction of a new high voltage transmission line from Quebec to Deerfield, NH. Three of the proposed routes pass through Chichester. Mr. Pike will keep the Board informed as the project progresses.
The Board reviewed the draft Public Hearing notice regarding the zoning and site review regulations. The Board decided to send the notice to counsel for review prior to submission to the paper for publication.
The Board reviewed some draft sign ordinance language as well as a variety of definitions regarding signs. Continued review will occur at the next meeting.
The next meetings will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 for the zoning amendment public hearing and Thursday, January 6, 2011 for new business.
A motion was made by Mr. Moore and seconded by Dr. Mara to adjourn the meeting at 8:45pm. Motion carries.
